Patrick A. Ward, MS, LMT, CSCS - Co-Founder/Performance Coach/Licensed Massage Therapist
Patrick Ward holds a Masters Degree in Exercise Science. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) through National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and a USA Weightlifting-Certified Club Coach. Patrick is also a licensed massage therapist in the State of Arizona. He specializes in clinical, therapeutic and sports massage and is certified in Active Release Techniques (ART) for the Upper Extremity.
Patrick's professional experience working with a diverse clientele ranges from training for general health, to rehabilitation, to athletes who want to take their abilities to the next level. Prior to founding Optimum Sports Performance, Patrick was a top-level fitness and human performance coach in New York City, where he also conducted seminars and clinics for fitness professionals, covering topics such as program design, periodization and assessments. He has served as a strength and conditioning consultant for various athletes of all ages and status.

Ivonne Berkowitz holds a Masters Degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), a Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) through National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and a certified sports nutritionist through the International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN-CISSN). In addition, she is working toward certification to become an ACSM-Certified WellCoach and Health/Fitness Specialist.
After embarking on a successful career as a web and graphic designer and author in South Florida, Ivonne chose to make a lifestyle change which ultimately led to a change in her career path. She began working as a personal trainer in South Beach before moving to New York City, where she established herself as a fitness and nutrition coach in the Upper East Side. In 2006, she relocated to Arizona where she continued her graduate education and collaborated with Patrick and Dave to bring OSP to life. Ivonne currently works as a health coach for corporate and general population clients, and occasionally as a bilingual freelance writer (Spanish/English). She's also responsible for any typos or strange layout issues with this website.
Dave has been working in the fitness industry since 1996 when he started out as a head trainer at Powerhouse Gym in Daytona Beach, FL. Dave worked as a clinical researcher at the University of Pennsylvania as a clinical researcher in rheumatology/neurology for 6 years, training clients on nights and weekends before leaving the University in 2006 to pursue sport-specific training full-time. His areas of focus are speed, agility and conditioning. Dave has worked with a variety of populations, from a scholastic wrestling coach all the way up to the senior athlete. Dave believes you get what you put in and expects his athletes to live by this.

Monika Woolsey is President and Founder of After the Diet Network. She is a Registered Dietitian and Exercise Physiologist, with over 25 years of experience in nutrition and exercise counseling.
